1971 MERCEDES BENZ ((NO RESERVE)) Up for auction is my 1971 Mercedes Benz 250 with clean and clear title in hand. This car has plenty of documentation including the original owners manual. This is a beautiful example of a solid California classic 200 Series Mercedes. This 250 Benz drives straight with plenty of power from the straight 6 that had the top half of the engine rebuilt less then six month ago and runs super smooth. The power steering assist works smoothly. The brakes have recently been done with in the last year. The AC compressor was not reinstalled after the machining and rebuilding of the head, but the compressor is included. I did not care much about the AC as the weather here is superb. The trunk is beautiful and still has the original rubber trunk mat, original floor jack and brand new full size spare. The doors have no play in the hinges and shut solid like the day the car was made. The hood hinges are sturdy with no play and the hood springs still have all the tension to hold the hood open in any position desired. The back seat has a small tear about two inches lower corner.
