We bought this car used from a private party. When purchased, the vehicle had 170,540 miles. After purchasing the vehicle, we experienced shifting problems as stated by the previous owner. Upon inspection by our mechanic, we discovered there wasn't any transmission fluid in the vehicle and the vehicle had multiple leaks. After adding transmission fluid, the car drove great for a few times. I drove it long-distance one day and the vehicle stalled when turning the key over. The dashboard computer output read "LOW OIL PRESSURE." Since purchasing the car, I have:Replaced all four tires ($400 value)Replaced the IAC valve ($18 value)Replaced the Oil Pressure Sensor ($26 value)Installed a New Battery ($118 value)Currently, the vehicle is inoperable. It will crank and stall due to LOW OIL PRESSURE. I am unable to drive it to a mechanic to ascertain what to repair. I suspect the following repairs should improve its drivability:Oil changeReplace oil pumpReplace all spark plugs and wiresInstall new brakes and drumsMay require transmission maintenanceThe vehicle is not displaying any OBDII codes presently. The vehicle's hood release is broken so accessing the engine requires two people. One person lifts up on the hood while the other person pulls the hood release cable from inside the car. We are selling the vehicle because at the present time we do not have the financial resources to make the necessary repairs.
