Vehicle Detail
1974 Ford Bronco......302 with 3speed manual This Bronco has a frame-off restoration started. I purchased this Bronco with the intention of a full restoration but circumstances have changed. I have done too many things to list but I will give overall description of what I have completed. I removed the body from frame and had frame blasted and painted. Rebuilt original Dana front end and Ford rear end. Installed new disc brake set-up on front Dana. All new drum brakes on the Ford rear end. The Dana transfer case and 3-speed manual transmission have been completely rebuilt, mated together, and installed back onto frame. The front and rear drive shafts have all new u-joints installed and ready to be installed. I installed all new 2 1/2" suspension lift (new rear leaf springs, new front and rear shocks, front coil springs). When I removed the original front floor mat, the build sheet was still glued to the floor. I installed new front floor boards and both rockers. The rear floor is very solid (as you can see in pictures). The inside and outside of the fire wall is nearly perfect (see pics). The quarters and front fenders are as solid as I have ever seen with literally just a couple of small pin holes just behind rear wheels. I have started a patch on right front inner fender just under where battery sits. The windshield frame is very solid with just minor surface rust. The dash is all original with no extra cut-outs. Doors have some rust at bottom but I have new panels from Dennis Carpenter. Door glasses and windshield are good. I have a solid replacement top with all glass. The Bronco had original A/C but I am not sure of the condition (will need to be rebuilt if you want to use it). The original 302 engine is stuck but not sure if it is just because it has been sitting for 25 years. I have many new parts to go with Bronco.... New wiring harness Electronic distributor All new body mounts and bushings New Dennis Carpenter tail gate I will be adding more pics as I get them uploaded. New chrome door handles New arm rests New stainless brake line set New fuel tank (installed) New coil spring retainer cups (installed) New brake master cylinder for disc brake/ manual drums New leaf spring u-bolts (installed) Many other new parts (too many to list) I have done most of the hard work. This would be a great project for someone to finish. I would love to but my circumstances have changed and I cannot finish. Someone could finish this great Bronco and have a $35-$40K Bronco for much much less than that. You will get all of my labor that I have done for free. This is saving thousands of dollars for you. The reserve price I am putting on this Bronco doesn't even cover the Bronco and all of the parts I have installed or giving. I have many pictures from the beginning to what I have done now. Just let me know if you would like additional pics or questions. I am located in GA. GA doesn't require a title for vehicles this old so I only have a bill of sale to go with it.
