The funnest car I've ever owned. We bought this almost 3 years ago from the original owners son. They had really taken care of it over the years. He liked to tow it to shows and such. This is a 1973 Volkswagen Thing Convertible. It runs great, has a great top, and a cover for the top. We have a tow bar and light kit for the car so you can tow it long distances and then play at the beach or a park or wherever you're going. We also have a dune buggy "stinger" exhaust you can put on for kicks! Mechanically it needs the brakes cleaned and adjusted, the paint is showing wear, the drivers side floor pan could use some weld repair, there is some damage near the front drivers side headlight, and the passenger side door pillar could use stiffening. Other than that it's pretty perfect. The engine is not original but starts easy and runs great. I do not know if the listed mileage is accurate.
