Up for sale, a completely restored 1974 Honda CR250 Elsinore vintage motocross machine. I built this bike to be ridden and enjoyed. If you ever wanted a nice vintage Honda Elsinore and the showroom restored cycles were too nice to ride and the beaten down clunkers are too ugly to own....then, this bike is for you. I kept the beautiful classic look of the '74 CR250 and just made small improvements to make the bike a better rider. The bike is new from the ground up and has only been taken for a few rides around the block. The highlights of new improvements include: Buchanan stainless spokes / straight rims Bronze swingarm bushings Rare vintage Inter-Am solid aluminum handlebars Weld-On widened footpegs VMX racing seat foam and cover Progressive shocks with HD 65/100 Springs Sunstar HD MX chain Jastco clutch cable mod for smoother clutching Mikuni VM Round Slide Carb DG Vintage rolled cone exhaust Strong Terrycable clutch and front brake cable UNI Air Filter PVL Electronic Ignition- No more unreliable points New brakes, bearings, seals, levers, perches, fasteners, etc. All aluminum bits have been polished The bike starts easy with the aid of the PVL ignition and a more ergonomic MT250 kick starter. The clutch and shifting have that magical modern Honda feel. The forks have new seals and the lowers are polished to factory new condition. The frame is straight and the footpegs are not sagging. Included with the bike is a nice aluminum axle stand to hold and display the cycle when you are not sitting on it. The bike is clean as a pin inside and out and ready to go. This cycle comes with a Bill of Sale only, like most motocross machines it does not have a title.
