Bought this car in 1979 when I was 15. Car has been garage kept since 1986 when I stopped driving it. Started restoring it but decided I wanted to do a frame up so I stopped but never got back to it. I reupholstered the whole interior - seats, door panels, etc. New dash pad. New carpet. Interior is 99% complete - just needs minor work to finish it off. Body also needs minor work to clean it up and ready for paint. All panels are rust free other than some minor surface rust in a few spots that would clean up easily. Rear quarters have some fiberglass/putty but don't look too bad. Floor pans and trunk are also in great shape. All chrome is present and in very good shape for original parts. Only exception is the convertible header chrome - these will probably need to be replaced. Needs new top and windshield. Car runs although the key does not work - I start it right at the starter - not sure why the key is not working - haven't really had time to look into it. Car does move - I've driven it up and down my driveway - but could use a tune-up and some brake work - loses brake fluid over time - maybe one of the brake cylinders is leaking?? I have some new uninstalled parts for it also: Rubber door frame weatherstrips, side marker turn signal bezels, window felts, trunk weatherstrip. Also have a set of rally wheels that are in great shape - see pics. Overall the car is in really good shape and could easily be finished into a very nice car.
