96 Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE I am selling my 2007 Mazda 6 Wagon which is in great shape except for a spark plug issue. While I was driving, a spark plug blew out of the cylinder and took the threads along with it. The car was still drivable so I took it to a local mechanic. The shop attempted to drill new threads into the hole and screwed in an insert along with a new spark plug. Unfortunately the new threads did not hold and blew the insert out. I will be graduating from school in the spring and do not desperately need a car. I'm certain that with the right approach, this car can be salvaged and returned back to perfect working order. Before this issue occurred, the car has had practically no problems since I bought it in 2011. I have diligently brought it in for regular oil changes and tune-ups. Please see the attached pictures. Unfortunately I did not get a chance to take a picture of the odometer but I know it just crossed the 100,000 mile marker in early September (old picture attached). It is likely closer to 100,200 miles. There is also a picture of the side of the bumper which has slightly popped out. I did not have time to examine this too much but I imagine it can simply be popped back in. The car is currently sitting in the mechanic's parking lot in Nashville, TN about 2 miles from my apartment. I will meet the winning bidder at the lot to hand over the keys and title. Winning bidder must deliver a non-refundable $250 deposit to me via Paypal within 24 hours of winning the auction. If the deadline passes, I will move on to the next highest bidder. After payment of the deposit, I will send the address of the mechanic and arrange a time to meet. Payment must be made in full prior to the pickup or in cash at the time of the keys/title exchange. On Nov-25-16 at 10:00:37 PST, seller added the following information: Also, the manifold is current disassembled so the winning bidder will need to have a tow dolly to take the car away. The car really shouldn't be driven very far since it has unburnt fumes coming from the open cylinder. However, having the manifold disassembled will help take some time off the repair. The engine lid does close even though the manifold is off.
