Selling my 1966 Chevelle. This is a great car that's had a lot of time and love put into restoring it. She isn't yet a "Show Car", but she does turn heads and gets attention absolutely EVERYWHERE she is. She drives great and is road trip ready. Here is a list of the items that have been restored / upgraded: Body is laser straight, its had both rear quarters replaced with GM exact fit steel. The trunk liner metal has been replaced. Car painted (7 years ago) Brand new convertible top custom AutoMeter gauge cluster Custom dash panel New Carpet (uninstalled, new in box) Custom radio, speakers, subwoffer Engine / Performance upgrades (350 motor, 700R4 transmission, cam, Holley 750 carburetor, headers, 4 core aluminum radiator, electric fans, power brakes, performance anti sway bar (front), lowering springs) Aftermarket wheels So that's the good....here's the bad: The front seat is beginning to get "soft" and would benefit from being reupholstered and changing the seat foam The rear seat needs reupholstering as there are tears along the seam line. The head gasket need to be replaced (oil burn off comes through exhaust) The carburetor needs adjusting (running a little lean) There are small blemishes in the paint and car could use a fresh paint job That's it!! The good TOTALLY out weighs the bad. Its a great car and an even better platform for the enthusiast that wants a great weekend classic car, or the restorer that wants to build the ultimate show car.
