Up for auction is a 1982 Honda CX500 in good condition. At the present time it's not running. Mechanically the bike is in good condition and the engine was running this summer, but has some sort of electrical problem now and won't start. I suspect that it's the CDI (you can get a replacement CDI on eBay for around $120). This bike should be easy to get running again for someone who has the time. It could easily be made into a bobber or cafe bike. It has practically new tires on the front and rear. Along with this bike I'll also include a 1979 CX500 parts bike. Right now it's basically a rolling chassis with a box full of parts (gas tank, radiator, engine covers, speedometer/tachometer, brakes, carburetor, etc...). But the frame is in excellent condition and would be another prime option for building into a cafe or bobber. I also have a shop manual that I'll include. I have titles for both bikes.
