Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 1997 BMW M3 Sedan Boston green exterior/magma interior 5 speed manual transmission 64000 miles (swapped from automatic by JG Technik in Branford CT) I could have done this swap in my garage but decided to take it to them because they are known regionally in the BMW world for their quality of work with motor swaps, builds, and overhauls. I wanted this swap as close to OEM as possible. Which means, the clutch activator switch was installed so it only turns on by pressing the clutch pedal in, the reverse lights were properly wired to work when throwing in reverse, and the computer was recoded to manual to make all proper adjustments. Everything feels like new. I am a BMW enthusiast whom has owned 3 E36s, an E46 ZHP, E60 M5 and currently own an E30 M3 as well as this vehicle. To say I take very good care of my vehicles is an understatement. I bought this car because my two year hunt for a clean e30 M3 was unsuccessful. 3 months after I completed the transmission swap I finally found one and sadly this has to go as it is just sitting in my driveway. New Afe stage 3 intake included in the sale(stock airbox currently installed) LTW spoiler and splitters Every single service record and receipt since 1997. New valve cover gasket, new pre cat o2 sensors, new transmission line, new power steering line, new front control arms/bushings. Manual 70k transmission installed 1000 miles ago with e34 m5 oem clutch, flywheel, z3 shift kit and receipts to prove it. This was no junkyard swap, every part is brand new. Car drives flawlessly. With the 3.38 auto diff in the back it is faster than a manual E36 M3 out of the factory. Also including the automatic transmission, driveshaft and parts from original automatic transmission that was swapped out. The car is currently sitting on its oem M contour five star wheels with snow tires. Flaws: Crack in one riser of the rear spoiler. Can be disassembled and JB welded back together for flawless appearance. One accident in 1999 on driver rear quarter panel. As a result some minor rust bubbling where the rear fender and bumper meet under the paint. Scratch on the bottom of the front bumper and passenger rear fender that previous owner touched up. Driver seat bolster had a hole in the leather. I patched it but it needs to be dyed with OEM dye to match perfectly to the rest of the seat. Other than that the car is in excellent shape inside and out. Up for sale with no reserve. As is no warranty and buyer must pay for and provide shipping to their destination.
