This is a vintage 1969 Honda CT90 Trail - the first bike many of us learned to ride on. It is 95% “de luxe” restoration - better than new in many ways. Contact me and I will give you the backstory on it and tell you what else needs to be done. Short version is: I bought three of them as a hobby project (All three are listed on Ebay now) and to use on my ranch, but I moved back to LA about the time I had them almost done. Starts on first kick or two. Use BUY IT NOW and I'll throw in a new BELL HELMUT - FREE Work done: I had the frame, wheels and luggage rack powder coated - so they are easy to clean up and very durable finish. The wheels have new bearings and seals and I relaced wheels with stainless spokes and nibs, no more rusty spokes- ever, then I put on new tires and tubes. The brake, throttle control cables and speedo cable have all been replaced and I rebuilt the front forks with new seals, replaced the triple tree bearings (steering column) with timkin style bearings and replaced the boots. The rear shocks were replaced, as was the drive chain, and it has a new seat and gas cap. The engine has new clutch friction plates, side cover seals and gaskets (except top-end). I replaced points, plugwire and spark plug and replaced the old carberator with an aftermarket one from DrATV. Note: I "modified" the downtube cover to accomodate the after-market carb. DrATV sells an oversized cover that you could paint to match and install pretty easily. I also dressed the case with new stainless steel socket style cap screws. There is lot more small things already done. New mirros, mud flap, air filter element, voltage regulater, gel type "no-spill" battery. Lots of other small items repaired/replaced as I went – rubber parts, fuel lines, brake levers, etc. Note on Title: The California DMV no longer has a record of this motorcycle. It was originally registered in California as an offroad vehicle. I believe DMV purged their systems some years ago. I have a bill of sale and original title (pink slip) from the gentleman I purchased it from. I chose not to register it and pay the fees until I had it back together.
