1984 Olds Toronado needs engine top end noise diagnosed, sounds like all the lifters are tapping. Possibly may need oil pump or maybe oil pickup screen is clogged up if I had to guess. Starts right up every time but if left run for 10 mins or more oil pressure light comes on. Engine sounds good other than lifter noise, no bottom end sounds. Also could use a paint job, the original paint has worn thin in several places with a little surface rust on the roof. Needs the plastic bumper fillers too. The body sheet metal is in great shape, no rust to speak off except the lower doors as shown in the pictures. Looks worse than it is, it is only surface rust. The car still wears its original paint so there is nothing covered up. The bumpers, grille and all the chrome looks really good. The interior is very clean, no rips or tears in the seats, no cracks in armrests or dash pad. Worn minimally as you would expect a car with 80k miles. The ashtray has never been used, apparently was never smoked in. Also pictured is the original paperwork from when the car was new including the build sheet, owners manual and dealers worksheet. I will require a $250 deposit via paypal within 24 hrs. of auction ending with balance to be paid in cash upon pickup within 7 days.
