NEW FRAME NEEDED!! I have a wonderful running/looking truck that needs a NEW FRAME. I bought it with 55k on the clock, and now has close to 77k (still using it). Totally drivable anywhere, but I am not going to wait for the frame to get any worse especially here in the Northeast area. Body shop cant repair the beginning stages. They already have welded a right rear shock mount that broke off and replaced both shocks. I was going to do the fronts as well, but I don't want to put anymore money into it. On that same side is a hole beginning to start (see pic) TRUCK NEEDS A NEW FRAME!! Quoted $9-12K replacement of frame. Unfortunately I was taken by the Joes Used car lot that bought it at auction and sold it to me. The options when bought new was to have it undercoated or replaced. I bought it when neither one was ever done. Had no idea about the issues or recall when I purchased it-just saw a nice Toyota truck with low mileage. I have changed the oil every 3k with receipts, and had a new exhaust put on. When it was on the lift I took the frame pictures. The left front fender was struck by a metal object that fell off a truck at a high rate of speed resulting in the fender/hood damage. not in an accident. All I had to do was replace the corner light. I wont take any specific pictures of frame being that I was told it needs a replacement-that simple. Hate selling this truck. Tires are in great shape and has steel wheels with chrome hubcaps. Has sliding rear window, P/S P/B, cold Air, CD player, Extended cab with jump seats. Has many little scratches and dings that are so hard to picture or describe unless seen in person, which I always recommend. Overall nice truck with no rust on body besides the frame issue. The right rear PLASTIC fenderwell was scraped by a pole, but will not rust(see pic) It has a bedliner and tailgate operates normally. Has manual locks and windows, tilt steering and delayed wipers. Brakes and clutch are very good and run through all gears effortlessly. Clear NJ title. Please, no OVERSEA bidders-US ONLY! Nod delivering to any kind of Port or shipping. Cash/cashiers check only.
