Selling for my parents, they bought the car in 1989 and drove it daily till 2009. Stopped using car because heater control blows hot all the time (still does). Car is 31 years old and has some issues. Would make a great commuter or work car with a few things fixed (i will try to have turn signals and right rear caliper working by end of auction). Car starts and drives fine and was well maintained until parked. has had paint work on passenger side and clear coat is peeling, also drivers door has been cleared. I have not buffed or pressure washed anything to try to hide true condition.The tires are dry and need replacing (do not plan on driving on these please). Windows and sunroof work, a new gasket for sunroof is in trunk, he thinks it may have leaked but it was dry when i washed the car. A new hood ornament is also in the trunk for the grille (someone broke it off). I want to keep my 100% rating and will answer questions as best as I can. Please read my reply to questions, good questions and honest answers. I am not a used car salesman and want you know what I know about the car. Parts have been ordered for what I think are the biggest problems(rear brakes and turn signals) and will update how that goes. I will not be in a rush to get the car gone when sold, I live in the country and have room to store it while you make plans to take it. Went for a 30 mile test and it does fine, floored it to look for smoke, it does smoke black for a bit then clears up. It has been sitting in my shop for 3 days and no drips of any fluid, jacked up in the back like I did the other day and no diesel so I think that was from my tractor earlier while it was in the same place.The bad news, the flasher is on back order so I don't know if that is what is going on with the turn signals not working. I ordered one online and hopefully it will be here by the time you come to get the car. It has groan or creak in the right front when turning at low speeds, don't want any surprises when you get here.I can't see why it would not make a road trip home, it cruises just fine, got to 60 a few times today and the tires were shaking but it was running really well.
