Up for auction is a 2008 Ford Expedition XLT 4x4. This vehicle was purchased brand new by the Village of Clarendon Hills and spent its entire service life as a fully marked Clarendon Hills Police Department squad car. It was retired from service this year having approximately 100,993 miles on the odometer. It comes with the following equipment/options: 5.4 V8 FFV engine, 6 speed auto, P/S, P/B, 4 wheel ABS, 28 gallon fuel tank, front tow hooks, P265/70R17 tires, 17' painted steel wheels, front & rear stabilizer bars, class IV trailer tow, rear wiper & washer, rear defrost, skid plates, cloth captain chairs, keyless entry, heated power mirrors, privacy glass, airbags, AM/FM CD/ premium speakers, vinyl flooring, autolamp, speed control, tilt wheel, power locks, power windows, 6" spotlight, 150 amp alternator, power driver seat, A/C w/ auxiliary climate control, safety canopy, ignition override, combination pad keyless entry and running boards. This vehicle is in overall good condition with the usual wear and tear associated with a 8 year old squad car. There are some scratches, scrapes and dings in the paint as well as some peeling on the tailgate. The headliner has small mounting holes in order to mount a camera system. The driver seat has two large holes in the upholstery. The passenger side mirror is cracked but still intact. The passenger side running board is cracked. Tires have good tread left.
