You are bidding on a 2004 Volvo V40 wagon. 89K original miles. NO RESERVE!!! Clean California title. Clean Carfax. No accidents. Car is in great condition for the most part. Has a minor engine knock. Mechanic said it is a rod knock. Second mechanic said it is a bad bearing. Either way, engine will need a rebuild or replacement down the road. I see them all over Ebay for $1000! For now, it runs and drives fine. It just passed California smog inspection with out a problem. No check engine light! Engine: Starts easily on first attempt. Settles into a smooth 750 rpm idle. Pulls effortlessly all the way to redline. At high rpm, with the radio off, you can hear the engine knock. Other than that, engine performs perfectly. Transmission: Moves from "Park" to "Drive" to "Reverse" smoothly with no hard engagement. Upshifts smoothly with no slipping. Downshifts just as smoothly. No hard shifting. No hesitation. Body/Paint: Bumper rash on rear bumper. Minor rash on front bumper. Paint fading in one area on top of passenger side rear door and quarter panel *see photo. Interior: Leather showing normal wear for a 12 year old car. No tears or perforations. No cracks in the dash. Normal wear on center armrest. Headliner, carpet, floor mats door panels all in good condition. Electrical: EVERYTHING WORKS!! P. windows, P.locks, Cruise, P.
