A great 1978 Mercedes-Benz 240D Automatic with the nice unusual chrome wheel arches in rare Caledonian Green. Car has salvage title, chalky paint, and has a noisy drivers side rear wheel bearing when making hard left turns, but this is a solid running driving project car that just needs a little TLC before being put back in regular service. Windshield has a crack right down the middle, doesn't affect visibility,You could drive it home within 100 miles but the bearing noise needs to be looked at soon. Diesel runs fantastic , starts easy and does not smoke. Upgraded Bosch pencil type glow plugs installed. Newer Blaupunkt CD Stereo with Remote Control !
