The Classic Car Gallery is proud to offer this amazing 2003 Audi RS6 with a 6-speed manual transmission conversion. This 3-owner car has been owned in house (since 2013 and 91,000 miles) and all modifications were done by Audi experts with no regard for cost; an open checkbook was employed. The 6-speed conversions are complicated, and need to be done by specialist to ensure that there are no check engine or warning lights and that the car passes all Emissions. This car checks all the boxes in this department. The 4.2L DOHC twin turbo V8 now makes 489 horsepower and 554 pound feet of torque at the wheels. The car is astonishingly fast, and gobbles up the road with ease. The manual transmission conversion was done at 85,000 miles and the car currently has 126,000 miles. The car is well sorted and reliable. In that time, the car has received the following modifications and upgrades;
- New Turbos in 2015 (OEM, not cheap chinese, $8000)
- New Timing Belt in 2015 (within the last 5000 miles)
- New Water Pump in 2015 (within the last 5000 miles)
- New Cam chain Tensioners in 2015 (within the last 5000 miles)
- New clutch in 2015 (southbend stage 4) (within the last 5000 miles)
- EFI express tune (within the last 5000 miles)
- New brakes
- New tires (80% treadlife remaining)
- New Battery
- European ABS controller including full coding (within the last 5000 miles)
- New control arms
- Valve Cover gaskets
- New AC compressor. (last month)
- Audi 6 speed 01E manual transmission
- New front axles
- New ignition coils
The Mugello Blue paint is good, with the expected chips and nicks on the nose and down low as would be expected of a car with this mileage. The black leather interior shows nicely, with only minor wear on the driver’s seat. The other seats, door panels, carpet, dash, and carbon fiber details are in excellent condition. The seats are heated and all power adjustments work as designed. The headliner sags a bit above the rear seats. The stock wheels have some scuffs and the tires are new. The turbos make 18 psi of boost and the computer was tuned by marque specialist EFI Express. A European ABS controller was installed and coded to the car (necessary with the manual transmission). Power is routed through a smooth shifting 6-speed Audi 01E manual transmission mated to a 10 bolt flywheel. Recently replaced components include the timing belt, drive belt, water pump, engine seals, and oil cooler. A full tune-up was recently performed with new plug coils, filters, and MAF sensors. New turbos less than 25,000 miles ago!! A South Bend Stage 4 clutch kit has also been installed with a Clutch Masters steel flywheel (within the last 5000 miles). The car features down pipes and stock secondary catalytic converters, new chain tensioner, valve cover seals and gaskets are all new. The car just got a new ac compressor and the climate control and all other systems work as they should. All of the work and all maintenance has been fully documented. The original window sticker, radio code and all books and manual come with the car. The car has a Clean Carfax report and clean Connecticut title. NO CHECK ENGINE OR WARNING LIGHTS of any kind.
