Mechanics Special: Bad Transmission Our family is the original owner of this 2006 Honda Odyssey Minivan. Engine runs well. Tires have plenty of tread, one tire is 4 weeks old. Power everything. Cruise control. Tinted windows. Sun roof. Leather seats. Tow package. Has about 288,000 miles. Carpet needs cleaning. Radio works, but CD player doesn't. Both sliding doors are broken. AC/Heat works great in the front, but not the rear cabin. Driver's seat power works fwd and back, but won't recline. Rear windshield wiper doesn't work. The van runs fine for about 30 minutes then the RPMs slowly creeps up to 4000 (doesn't matter the speed), when the RPMs hit 5000 the minivan loses all acceleration. The van stops moving. After it sits for a few hrs, then the van is drivable again. I'm assuming the transmission is going. We bought a new car so we are selling this Honda for $1500 OBO. Please note: We are also selling this minivan locally too. If we sell it offline we will remove this listing. We can hold the van, after you purchase it, for 7 days if you need the extra time. Car should be towed to your destination or it will stop working after 30 minutes of driving.
