Up for auction is a 1997 Ford F150 Crew Cab Lariat Edition truck that has an inspection good until 2/17. The interior is in average shape and overall the body is in good condition. Current mileage is 190,517 and the four wheel drive and transmission run great. The truck drives quite well however it will need a head gasket. About two days I noticed the truck dripping small amount of antifreeze when I parked it in my driveway. I found that antifreeze has started to push out of the head in small drips. Since that time the truck has been parked and only leaks when under pressure (basically when driving). I am selling the truck because I have basically reached my financial limit of how much I want to invest in it. I started to fix this truck in the hopes of giving it to my son to drive (just turned sixteen) but due to the recent head gasket issue I decided to throw the towel in and try to sell her. I have invested over $2600 in repairs and will detail everything below in what has been done. Since my intention was to give this to my son I made sure I went over this truck thoroughly and repaired every problem I encountered. Body work was recently done to address the any rust on the body. I have the title in hand and it is a clear title.
