PLEASE FACTOR THESE FEES INTO YOUR MAXIMUM BID AMOUNT This 1998 Mercedes SL500 provides a luxurious and sporty ride with precise handling and a quick and powerful 5.0L-V8 engine. The grey interior with wood trim looks pretty good and features dual power-adjustable seats, power hardtop, keyless entry, climate control, leather wrapped steering wheel, auto-dim rear view mirror, alloy wheels, and more! The interior will need some dye work and a real good cleaning/scrubbing, but overall looks good. The paint looks good overall and the body is straight with no rust. The gas lid has dents on it and will need to be replaced. The mono-block sport alloy wheels are structurally good, but will need to be repainted. The power hardtop looks good, but will not release. The radio does not work. We do not know what the soft-top looks like because we cannot get the hardtop off. Cosmetically this car has some issues. There is a big piece of the front bumper missing and the driver side mirror has delaminated and leaked onto the door, causing a streak. This Mercedes SL500 still runs and drives good, but it is past due for a VA state inspection (expired in 2014). We have not check this car out and we do not know what it might need in order to pass inspection.
