I hate to see it go, but I recently got a company car and I'm out of space in the garage. I'm letting it go for a steal to a new owner who will treat it right. NO TRADES or any tire-kicking and you MUST have the cash to purchase. I am not selling this to make a big profit or find a, "deal" on anything else. If you don't know what this SUV is right away, you're probably not the right buyer. If you do, you'll know how rare and wonderful these old rides are. They absolutely do not make them like they used to. I've owned and adored several "1st Gens" and this one is as solid as any. I just put over $3,000 into this (I have all receipts!) to have the engine completely rebuilt (new plugs, wires, gaskets, pumps, timing belt, idler). All new brakes all around. Brand new suspension. Brand new steering and linkages. The transmission on this thing is indestructible and shifts like new. Brand new suspension, steering and brakes all around. There is a new sound system with new wiring and new speakers. I kept the old school speaker boxes in the back, but the speakers inside the boxes are new and sound great. The original paint is not perfect, but in pretty good shape for a car this old. The front grill and headlight trim has been repainted black and looks really sharp. I’ll try to be as comprehensive as possible here, but please send me any other questions you have prior to bidding. This is a really nice example of a classic SUV, but it is mostly original and has some of the wear and tear one would expect for a car this age. Switches, signals and electrical work great aside from the hazard switch. The sunroof motor is slowing down, but it still works. A/C is ice cold, cruise control, heat all work great. Interior headliner needs repair. One seat belt is fraying. Blemishes on the exterior include a few dings and some small rust spots on the quarter panel, but not major. The seats have no tears. The driver seat foam is a little worn down. If you want a solid, mechanically sound SUV this is it. If you’re hoping to get a perfect classic, a headliner and minimal body work will get you there!
