Last winning bid made a “no-show” and did not make deposit or payments – therefore this re-listing. DO NOT BID IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO MAKE THE ACTUAL PURCHASE AND PAYMENT To make the offer more attractive I have FURTHER REDUCED the initial eBay offering to $1675.00 to allow for costs incurred should the buyer decide to use payment by the eBay approved site escrow.com for the final payment (BUYER PAYS FEE). I'll still expect the immediate deposit of $500.00 by PayPal to hold the winning bid until final payment is received. Although the mileage is over 52000 and may, by some, be considered "high" but when considered in context of use and years it is quite within what is considered normal for a 2005 model that is used daily (in fact a 25 miles daily comute would result in well over 62500 miles with side rides included). Regardless of this mileage, I find this bike is still a great deal for current daily commutes or long rides with your buddy riding along on the back (I've done up to 400 miles in a day without saddle soreness). Don't be mistaken or misguided into believing that this is just another scooter. It is definitely NOT the little, wimpy scooter that you see running in the cities with no tag. This is a 650cc, super-scooter that is capable of over 100mph, weighs in around 550 pounds and is not afraid of riding the highways. It requires a motorcyclist license and vehicle registration, insurance and tags. Due to the heavier weight of this scooter when you approach and pass semi-trucks they do not make you feel unstable on the road from the air buffeting. There are even those who haul a trailer behind this size/model while riding two up. Routine mileage I have tracked over the past five years is 40~44 mpg, and I've gotten over 50mpg when keeping constant speed on long runs while maintaining 65~75 mph. Even though this is classed as a scooter (due to low mounted engine) it IS known by those who have them as a “super scooter” or affectionately referred to as a “burger king” - I have seen it top over 100mph. I also find that even though you have the feel of sitting higher than on a cruiser style motorcycle, which gives you better view, I am able to corner this bike at higher speeds than my Honda Shadow cruiser – I account for this because the engine sits so low and this low weight drastically lowers the center of gravity and improves handling. This bike is GREAT FUN to ride and is very hard to beat as either a daily commuter or for a long-haul. For comparitive purposes: NADA lists low retail at 2145 and an average of 2820. KBB lists TRADE-IN value as 2280 and (excellent) retail at 3350. As of this day the lowest listed in cycle trader is 2600.IF you don't like the price and no one is bidding then make a REASONABLE offer if you want. I'll listen and consider any offer within reason (but I am NOT looking to trade or exchange for anything).IF any further information is desired or if you need a more detailed photo PLEASE ASK (just be specific of what or where you want photo). I'll email results if asked. I put the time, effort and parts cost into this machine to ensure that it had long-term reliability since I use it as a daily commuter up until 2015 and couldn't afford the down time or being late for work. The bike is 100% mechanically sound -- eCVT was (professionally) replaced in Albuquerque, NM by the original owner at around 30,000 miles (I am second owner). The ONLY thing I can think of... is that "down the line" and many miles away, I would consider wheel bearing and seal replacement, if nothing else as a preventative measure. When I inspected the Burgman during my work I took the necessary time to check all wheel bearings, seals and the final drive bearings where I replaced seals - ALL were in excellent condition with gears showing proper mesh and minimal (normal) wear. I changed all the oils on purchasing bike to AMSOIL brand (full synthetic) and have not used anything but their products since 2011. I purchased her with 40669 miles and have since placed over 11,000 miles without even one problem (well I did get too low on gas ONCE). I've ridden two up without lack of power or acceleration hesitation, I've taken her to Sturgis and back from the Badlands, and I've had her over 100 mph a few times. She's solid as it so Let my work performed be your benefit !!! Major preventative maintenance performed @ 44693 miles bike had including: (all parts are Suzuki OEM) --- changing of water hoses--- sealing washers for all oil lines & gaskets where felt necessary--- checked valve clearances--- changed out spark plugs--- drained flushed and refilled fork oils--- renewed fork seals and dust covers--- final drive lip seals and gaskets renewed--- final drive bearings and gears inspected and found excellent condition--- wheel bearings and lip seals inspected--- Seat professionally reupholstered--- New front & rear tires--- brake fluid flushed--- front & rear pads, front rotors, rear caliper renewed--- NEW lock SET installed (two keys, steering lock/ignition, gas cap, glove box)--- after market, louder horns installed (110db) – still have original horn, included with sale--- Only Amsoil oil and filters have been used through bike since 2008 with regular changes--- Original owner had eCVT replaced at 30000 miles--- Front rotors and pads renewed end of June-2016.--- New seat cable purchased but not used, included with sale ADDL SHIPPING INFO: I prefer to have customer pickup at a location mutually agreed upon within a reasonable distance of Parkville, MD. However, IF you want to arrange for a shipping service to pick up the bike then please let me know so that I can coordiate to be on location if required by your chosen shipper. In this case shipping cost will be arranged and paid for by YOU the BUYER. Should you be relatively nearby (within 30 miles of Parkville, MD) then I can drive the bike to your location, while still on my insurance and tag, then remove tag once on site and humbly request a ride back to my location. Disclosures: Normal wear and tear on plastic for a 2005 model, scratching on gauge display (although my research showed replacement available for approx $60) Important: Only use Escrow.com. Using Escrow.com can help keep buyers and sellers safe from fraud. When you use Escrow.com, they collect the money from the buyer and hold it until the buyer and seller agree that the terms of the sale have been met. Once both parties are satisfied, Escrow.com sends the payment to the seller. Escrow.com is licensed and regulated company, and the only escrow service that can be used for eBay transactions. Escrow is available for any purchase, but typically is used for eBay Motors vehicle purchases of $500.00 or more.
