For consideration is a 1956 (titled) ZUNDAPP KS 601 with the S stamped engine (sport). This machine is 98% complete and correct. The bike has been sitting for years and would make a great survivor bike saving the expense and time of a restoration. Some bikes, although not showroom, deserve to be left the way they are with their age and patina showing and this bike may be just that. The heads were removed when i bought it but i have some (didn't come with them tho) and i believe there's a spare head too along with exrta rockers i bought. The cylinders numbers match the bike as they are correct. I have too many projects, including another 1957 KS 601 sport , and am willing to let someone else enjoy this machine. The S stamped engines are said to be higher performing due to a lumpier cam and maybe bigger carbs and could out run an r69 BMW !! The bike can be stored here until you make arrangements for shipping for a reasonable amount of time....once paid for. Any questions just ask or give me your phone number and a good time to call. Also included are an extra pair of cylinders and 1 spare cylinder head. I also made up some of the bakelite taillite wire junctions that can pass for the original , as i used the one from this bike as a pattern. There is also 1 set of the very desirable cast aluminum headlite ears which i found that will be sold with this machine. It has come to attention that this bike could actually be a 1953 model by the vin number but i can only go by the title. Sometimes dealers titled them when they were sold and Zundapps, being a slow seller, may have sat on the dealers floor for some time before finally being sold Overseas sales are possible but ALL shipping arrangements will be made by the buyer.
