Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my 1997 Silverado Z-71 5.7 Vortec with 166k on the clock. Truck runs good and a/c blows cold. I drive it close to 50 miles a day without any problems, even in rush hour traffic on 100 degree days. I have put many new parts on this truck in the last few months including: MechanicalRear differential completely rebuilt ($1,800)Power steering pump ($500)Rear brake cylinders replaced ($150)Air FilterUpper radiator hosePitman and idler arm ($150)A/C Hose, After replaced, system had vacuum pulled to check for leaks and was filled with the proper Freon and has worked great ever since. ($150)Distributor cap, rotor, and wires ($105)Numerous sensors replacedDual exhaust new from about the backseat back. True dual setup with 2 Flowmaster mufflers and 2 stailess tips straight out of the back. Sounds real nice, not too loud. Its deep and throaty, like an American chevy 350 should sound ($400)Previous owner appears to have done work to the motor including: new heads, updated spider injector assembly, spark plugs, and intake gasket. I did a compression test with the following results: Cyl 1 150psi, Cyl 2 160psi, Cyl 3 160psi, Cyl 4 170psi, Cyl 5 160psi, Cyl 6 150psi, Cyl 7 160psi, Cyl 8 160psi.The 4wd system does not seem to be functioning. I can hear the transfer case actuator when the button is pressed but the light just flashes. I have read and this may be the actuator on the front axle which is an easy fix by just removing and replacing the old one. I just haven't had a need for it.The blend door actuator also acts up sometimes. It blows out of the vents just fine but it doesn't want to go to the defrost vents when selected. The windshield washer only sprays from the drivers side. I have not removed the wiper trim to investigate if it may be a loose hose between the 2 nozzles.Recently passed TX OBDII inspection with no problems ExteriorBrand new tires from NTB Cooper Discoverer RTX LT285/75R16 Put on at 162k ($750)Stock Z71 rims were stripped and can now be polished. The inner parts of the rim did not strip as it had a different kind of coating. My plan was to paint the inner parts of the rim black but I never got around to it.New front bumper ($150)All new front lights 8 total ($100)Tailgate cap and handle replaced ($50)The paint on the hood and the roof need to have the clear coat refinished. The hood also has some dents where the hinges bolt up. The rest of the truck is decent for an almost 20yr old truck with normal bumps and nicks. The bedside on the drivers side by the taillight has a deep scratch. Please look at the pictures. The windshield is also cracked but does not affect the driver. The grill also has a crack on the passenger side but it is not noticeable. The power mirrors motors are not 100%This color was only available on these trucks for the '97 model year. There are not a lot of these around. InteriorDash cover to hide a crack that I did not notice until a month after I bought the truck.New front seat covers from Cal-Trend ($250)New Pioneer MVH-X580BS, Kicker CS series speakers front and back and Alpine KTP-445u amp to drive them. All connections were spliced and soldered together, no butt connectors were used. ($300) Interior lighting converted to LEDThe carpet was removed and cleaned recentlyThe tint on the windows needs to be replacedThe drivers seat motor, for moving closer or farther from the wheel, is very weak. The motors for up and down work just fine. I have tried to convey the truest condition of this vehicle. However, I might have missed something. Please inspect the pictures closely. It is the buyer's responsibility to verify the condition of this vehicle. A $500 deposit is due within 24hrs of auction close. Remainder is due in 7 days in the form of cash or certified cashiers check only. I will not release the vehicle until I have the money, no exceptions. Shipping is up to the buyer. I will do what I can to help within reason if my schedule allows. Thank you for looking and happy bidding on your next truck!
