Vehicle Detail
For questions, please call me (Dan) at 619.764.8880. Family is downsizing to one vehicle. This is my wife's car. My dad gave this Porsche to me so he could upgrade to the new ’16 Cayenne Turbo. He liked it so much that he didn’t want to trade it in but rather keep it in the family. So last May he foot the bill to ship it from Miami to San Diego where I live. It arrived with 67,000 miles. As a retiree, my dad rarely drove it beyond a 20 mile radius from his home. He kept it maintained on schedule by The Collection Porsche dealership in Coral Gables, Florida. He had them take care of everything all the time no questions asked. Like I said, it's my wife's car, and she only uses it to bop around town, run errands, play dates, etc. This Porsche is fully serviced and maintained for the long-haul by the highest quality mechanics. - Smogged- New tires in October 2015 (less than 5k wear)- Replaced Kardon shaft (extremely common for make and model)- Replaced reservoir coolant tank (design flaw by Porsche by placing the tank too close to the hot engine; also extremely common). - Fresh oil change - Only issues: a very small oil leak from valve cover gasket and also back hatch hydraulics worn down. - The most notorious fault with the Porsche Cayenne is the coolant system failure. My dad replaced the entire system (i.e., plastic coolant pipes to metal) by the dealership at 62k miles.- Brakes are super responsive- All features work perfectly (cold A/C, power windows, Xenon headlights, moonroof, keyless entry, etc.) This vehicle maintained by La Jolla Autotech Porsche, the best Porsche mechanics in San Diego (4.5 stars Yelp) (all service records available). It’s important to me that I sell a quality vehicle to the buyer, so my mechanic did a complete inspection of the vehicle. Aside from the small oil leak, the entire vehicle checked out. This is a lot of info, but I understand that the online vehicle shopping process, especially if shopping for privately-owned vehicles, carries a bit of uncertainty and risk. That being so, I want to assure you as the buyer that you will be happy and confident with this Porsche because that reflects how well I've taken care of it. Please contact me for any and all questions. I’ll take your best offer (but no lowballing). I know the KBB, NADA, and CarFax values (for this car, it’s $14,500), so perhaps you'd want to check out those estimates before you make your offer. NO DEPOSIT REQUIRED IF PICKING UP WITHIN 48 HRS. IF YOU HAVE AN ALTERNATIVE REQUEST FOR DELIVERY, PLEASE EMAIL OR CALL. For questions, please call me (Dan) at 619.764.8880.
