This Executive Class Full Size Luxury Sedan is currently still in limited production and is only sold at specific Toyota locations in Japan. The current MSRP in Japan for a new 2016 model is over $120,000.00 converted into U.S. currency. The Century entered into production in 1967 and has remained largely unchanged, with only some mechanical changes in 1997. The platform is an elegant premium right hand drive sedan that is manufactured primarily for the Japanese market. It's history is impressive. It is a Japanese luxury car that is classy and elegant yet understated and thoroughly Japanese. Created in the days when a Japanese car was made for Japans tastes and to serve the enthusiasts of Old World luxury. Conservatively styled with sense & honor, it simply exudes exclusivity. The Century is NOT made in one of Toyota's plants...it is Manufactured by another Division of Toyota called "Kanto Auto Works". The Kanto decal is still located on the inner trunk lid of this vehicle. The Century was selected by an Auto Digest as "One of the 10 Cars for the most Powerful People in the World". All the Exterior Trim, Badging, Chrome and Stainless is in absolutely stunning condition. The Interior as well is completely ORIGINAL to the car and is in perfect shape! The removable Factory Eyelet White Seat Covers (with the Century Bird woven into the lace) are fitted to the top portion of the seats and unzip with ease....all the seat material is like new! It is a very traditional Japanese look. As a matter of interest these cars were manufactured in 1984 without a leather interior as the Old World Japanese culture did not like the feel, smell or sound of leather for automobile seating.
