For sale is one beautifully restored 1969 Beetle convertible. This was restored in San Diego and brought to Texas by an elderly gent. I brought from Texas to Colorado a few years ago. Last year I was relocated with job to Long Island. This is a beautiful Cherry Red with less than 14,000 since the restore. The engine has been bored to 1776 cc, dual ported carbs and free flowing extractor system. The vehicle has been outfitted with custom Porsche wheels. I also had a custom bonnet made to replace the rather aged cover. It has a 4 speed short throw SKAT transmission. There is no rusting and everything works very nicely. It has always been garaged. NOTE: It is important to note that this vehicle has not been restored stock. It has been lowered somewhat with the custom Porsche wheels. Also the interior done over in custom leather.
