Vehicle Detail
I have owned this car for the past 6 years. The car is very solid and reliable. When I purchased the car it had 117,000 and current millage is about 120,000I must say this car is very fun to drive and it always put a smile on my face when i return home from my late night drives. It is no garage queen although I keep it in the garage for all he years of my ownership. And it certainly is not in mint condition but has a lot of potential for the right owner. If You are not familiar with the e28 M5 you can find a lot of information on line and I do suggest you do some research. on the rarity and value which continues to go up daily. I am not going to add a lot of links to websites discussing the value or how much others have sold for in the past few years. Good points:New rear and front breaks and rotorsRebuild both rear calipersReplace both motor mountsReplace front suspension armsReplaced rear sub frame bushingsReplaced all brake hoses and fabricated new rear hard linesReplaced fuel linesNew fuel filter and spark plugsnew seat module for passenger seat 4 new conti 235/45/17The bad:The car does have some rust in the rear. (estimate to repair was 2500.00)The dash has a few cracks. The tool kit is missing some tools.A few dings in the body but nothing major.front driver seat is worn and needs repair passenger seat is not as bad but would be worth doing with the front driver setReason for selling the car.. I have 3 in college this year wife says it has to go! Asking price is 18,500On Jul-04-16 at 15:28:36 PDT, seller added the following information: The rust is located in the rear under the bumper on both sides. If you look very close at the picture from the rear, look under the rear bumper in the corner.
