Vehicle Detail

1992 Range Rover Classic, Beluga Black with Sorrell Leather interior. This Rover starts on the first crank. The engine and transmission run well. With that said, it's not safe for the highway. It needs a new steel floor (you can see the road through the floor in one spot near the firewall on the driver's side), new rocker panels (sills, where you can also see the road underneath), new custom welded front and rear pillars, and new rear wheel wells (where the rear seat belts attach). Is not safe for the road but it will drive onto a tow truck and into a driveway safely. I drive it around my neighborhood from time to time just to keep the juices flowing. There's also low brake pressure- I suspect it needs a new ABS accumulator, ABS pressure switch, or ABS pump. I also recommend installing new plugs, cap, rotor and wires, and new emission hoses. NEW ITEMS that I installed myself or that were installed by a certified master Range Rover mechanic after 120K miles: new wiper motor, headliner, viscous coupling transfer case, rear rotors and pads, Mean-Green starter (awesome), coolant expansion tank, stainless steel cats and cats back exhaust, Borla stainless steel exhaust, tailgate, tailgate seals and tailgate struts, headlamps, oil pump gasket, crankshaft gasket, timing cover gasket, swivel balls, front calipers, radiator, water pump, air conditioning system, heater core and blower kit assembly, O2 sensors, fuel filter, exhaust manifold, sunroof seal and more. There is no radio, the original cigar lighter is missing, there is some peeling along the center console bottom trim and the front passenger door side pocket is broken off. There is some bubbling along the Range Rover logo on the front hood and Range Rover lettering is peeling off (an easy fix). I have the original jack stand, both ignition keys, the matching 4th silver Range Rover wheel (it's currently on a Range Rover tri-spoke spare), and the original owner's manual. I have owned this Rover since October 2005. The leather seats are in great shape and the seat covers as shown are included. A second set of floor carpets is included as well. The Thule roof rack as shown is also included (great for moving large items) as are the front and rear brush guards and front fog lights (they work great). Oil changes were performed every 3,000 miles and the dipstick is squeaky clean. I already upgraded the rear tailgate. The exterior body will impress overall; it's straight with minimal dents, dings or scratches, and the paint shines. The steel chassis is rock solid and rust free. This Rover needs a new steel undercarriage, some bodywork, some brake work, freshen up the emission hoses, throw in new spark plugs, cap, rotors and wires, and you'll have a daily driver. I moved from MD to CA and this Rover must go. The title is clean and I will sign it over upon receipt of full payment. NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS. Sold as-is. I hope to find a Rover enthusiast who will fix it up and keep it on the road. She will be a beauty once fully restored. This is your opportunity to own an original Range Rover Classic!
