Selling a Toyota Land Cruiser I picked up along with another one in West Virginia. The woman who was selling them was getting rid of much of her deceased husband's auto projects and these were vehicles that he planned on restoring. The vehicle is obviously a project rig and NO IT DOES NOT RUN!! NO, IT WILL NOT MAKE IT HOME TO YOUR HOUSE IN NEW YORK unless you bring a trailer and are prepared to manually (or with a winch) load it onto said trailer. This project needs some serious attention, but for a North East FJ40 it's a pretty decent starting point. I am keeping some of the parts currently on the vehicle and seen in the pics, but will itemize them below so you know what you will be getting when you come to get it or have it shipped. Like stated earlier the tub is salvageable IMO. It has some spots where it has rotted through, but the seems look good on the back end and the front floors appear solid. The frame also looks like it will clean up after media blasting with little to no rot that I could see. The right side 1/4 has some plastic in the rear, but I'm thinking it is more from being dented over rotted. I can take more pics if need be. Please ask necessary questions before placing a bid. I don't you want to waste your time so please do the same for me. The rig took me and my buddy over three hours to get it to roll since it had been sitting for years so be sure to say thanks to me and my buddy for doing all the hard work. I have been wrenching on these fine machines since the late 1980's along with Toyota Mini 4x4's and 1st Gen 4Runners. I am not an expert, but think I have gained the knowledge through the years to accurately assess a restorable rig and this one fits that criteria 100% IMO. In sum, I am looking on unloading this pretty quickly since it is currently being stored at my buddy's place. We will help load it for you if you bring a trailer or have it shipped, but I DO NOT want to upset his wife if you know what I mean. The title is clean and will obviously be included in the sale. Please do all your homework on how you are going to pick it up and get it back to your locale before you place a bid.
