The Classic Car Gallery is proud to offer this lovely 1978, rubber bumper MGB. The car has British Racing Green (BRG) paint and Tan interior. This is a 2 owner (last owner from 1986) very original car, with original floors, paint, and all original panels. She has been sympathetically maintained and is in excellent condition. The vehicle is a strong daily driver. The correct BRG (clearly the car has had a repaint) paint shows well, with good shine and luster. There are the normal wear and tear around the car that occurs over 50 years and as is commensurate to the age of the car. The original autumn interior is in excellent original condition. The carpets are original and show well. The vinyl top is newer and in excellent condition, the window is clear and the car comes with a matching tonneau cover. The 1800cc 5 bearing motor was just tuned, runs strong, doesn’t smoke, and is in an excellent state of tune. The 4-speed transmission is excellent, as is the clutch. The car has a new exhaust system. She starts well and runs smoothly. The chrome and all trim is excellent and the rubber is fresh. The car rides on newer Michelin tires and its original steel wheels. The brakes are fresh, and the car stops with authority. All mechanical systems work, as they should. She car is a joy to drive, and gives the driver the classic British roadster experience.
