When is the last time you saw one of these?? One of the great Dinosaurs of Police cars. Up for bids is this EXTREMELY RARE all original numbers matching 1973 Dodge Polara Police Pursuit. The car was special ordered for the State of Arizona. It is equipped with the High Performance Police 400ci Big Block V8 with four barrel carburetor, automatic transmission and dual exhaust! I have the partial build sheet and special order check list from State of Arizona to dodge, It is in poor condition but has been laminated in plastic to protect it. I also have the factory 1973 Police cars sales brochure. The vehicle is a RUST FREE Arizona car! vehicle has a clear title! Car shows no signs of ever being hit, just a few minor dents! Just look at the pictures! The car is in good condition, great car for your Police car restoration project. Car retains it’s original fender tag stating: “Special order” and other “F” code police options. Vehicle Exterior Condition Over all condition of the exterior is great for it’s vintage. Paint is flat and faded but shiny in a few spots.You’ll find assorted dings, minor dents and scratches from fleet use. But it’s still a great looking car. The front chrome bumper is in great condition! Also comes with a N.O.S. Spare bumper. Rear chrome bumper is in good condition. Could use a polish to be perfect.Grill and headlight areas are in good condition. Could use a polish to be perfect.Parking/turn signal lamp lenses are in good condition.Taillights are in good condition.Car has a set of four good tires with plenty of tread.All glass is in mint condition.Appears to not have any holes in the body from a light bar cable or antennas.Does not appear to have been severely wrecked at any point in time. Vehicle retains its original police package heavy duty &black steel wheels with correct “dog dish” center caps, they look great! Chrome shines beautifully!No tinted Windows. Equipped with one chrome spotlight on drivers side! No police push bumpers ever installed.Trunk lid on the car is damaged, but can be very easily repaired. It was pryed open with a crow bar many years ago prior to my ownership. It is missing the trunk key cylinder. There is one on the spare trunk lid I have. There is a hole drilled on each side of the core support for the mounting of two red police lights behind the grill. This was done by the police agency many years ago. Vehicle Interior Condition This police sedan has the front bench seats with matching rear seats in fair condition. Over all condition of the interior is fair! The front bench seat is in fair condition. It is black vinyl and black and white hounds tooth cloth. The rear all cloth seat is in good condition just dirty.All four door panels are present but in fair condition. Some warping from the AZ heat.Headliner is good conditionThere is a factory AM radio.Car was ordered with factory carpet instead of the typical police vinyl flooring. Carpet was in poor condition and has been removed.Steering wheel is in good conditon condition. Some cracks from the heat.Trunk is good, not totally clean, has trunk liner.Overhead visors are good.Speedometer and gauges are good. Some fading from age.Car has No holes in dash from equipment.Has the ash trayB pillars are good. No divider ever mounted in this car.Vehicle’s rear door handles work/operate properly and can be opened from the inside. Vehicle retains all factory A/C buttons.All factory seat belts are in place and functioning correctly. Vehicle Electrical Condition Car is equipped with Factory A/C & Heater. Unknown if working. Currently does not have the compressor mounted. It’s in the trunk. The car still retains it’s high-speed A/C Cut off switch and factory label.Cruise Control delete.Ticket light worksHazard switch works fineWipers work.Equipped with the full Police package, it sports a 140mph certified calibration speedometer. It works fine.AM radio works.Turn signals and other electrical components not all ready mentioned are working properly. Spotlight works! Vehicle Mechanical Condition The Polara is equipped with the Police 400ci Big Block High Output V8 engine with four barrel carburetor and automatic transmission. Currently vehicle is not running but engine turns freely. Should run fine with a little work. 86k original miles. Included in the police package is the heavy duty cooling and suspension packages. The Engine compartment is stock and clean. Car also has factory dual exhaust. Vehicle has no known mechanical problems of any kind. I was told the carburetor was rebuilt by its previous owner and a new fuel pump was installed. The fuel tank could use a good cleaning. Has manual crank windows, mirrors and locks all work as they should EXTRAS Comes with many spare parts such as a new front bumper, nice and really hard to find rear valence. Echaust peices, some red lights.Some new lenses for the lights, an extra rust free trunk lid and more. Heavy duty suspension complete with rear sway bar, heavy duty rear springs and torsion bars. 122" wheelbase, yes this is one big car. Almost 20 feet long!!! A $20.00 a day storage fee will be charged there after the two free weeks are up, until vehicle is picked up. A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 dollars must be received by me within 24 hours of close of auction via paypal or USPS money order sent over overnight express mail only! You MUST make contact with me within the 24 hours close of auction. If the deposit does not arrive within the 24 hours close of auction or no contact is made, the purchaser has forfeited the purchase of my vehicle, by not following the terms and conditions of this auction and the vehicle will be relisted!
