BEAUTIFUL Honda CB550K 1978 SOHC. I bought this bike a few years ago from an 80 year old man who bought it brand new in 1978/1979 This is the highly collectible SOHC Single Over Head Cam motor. Bike is in absolutely amazing condition for its age. Even has the original seat! Those are worth $500-$600 alone. Newer tires and battery. I changed the handlebars to more of a cafe style, but the original bars, turn signals, mirrors are all included in the sale if you wanted it to look like it did from the showroom. The original owner changed the pipes right after he got the bike. I was able to track down 2 of the 4 that were "take-offs" in the late '70's and sitting in the back of a local motorcycle shop. If you can find the other 2 pipes, this bike would be 100% factory. I haven't seen one in this good of condition ever. Even the bolts have the original yellow paint on them from the factory! The only cosmetic issue I can think of is there are 2 small spots on the gas tank where a bit of the clear coat came off. I recently rebuilt the carbs and balanced them. Bike runs GREAT! Local pickup only. Milwaukee Wisconsin 8300 ORIGINAL miles. Original owner rode the bike a few times each summer, then washed it, waxed it, and put it back into the garage.
