For sale is my 1971 BMW R75/5. The /5 is the last Airhead to feature a kick starter and the instruments within the headlight pod. It's everything you love about the /2 with a stronger motor. Motor was rebuilt in 2012 and carbs were rebuilt, with new carb kits, in 2014. The carbs are off of a R90 (which allows leak down testing), but I also have the original Bings. New exhaust in 2012 and new AGM battery in 2013. This is a great looking and running bike that gets thumbs up wherever it is ridden. Existing mileage is unknown because the speedo stopped recording at 26,000 miles. Less than 200 miles since the rebuild.
