1970 Honda CT

Original 1970 Honda CT70 Trail 70 - 2,957 original miles! I purchased this a few months ago with the intention of restoring it as this is the type bike that I - and millions of other people - learned to ride on. It still had the original tires and tubes that were all dried and cracked. I purchased and installed brand new OEM tires and tubes. The carburetor float valve was also sticking so I replaced that with a brand new Honda OEM float kit. I adjusted the chain and the brakes. It runs very strong, starts right up, and shifts smoothly through all of the gears. The headlight and taillight do not work and I haven't investigated as to why. There is a broken wire under the seat and I am pretty sure that the battery is toast. There may be other electrical issues but I do not know. The seat has also been "repaired" with duct tape sometime during its 46-year life. I do not have a title. I am selling it because my wife wisely reminded me that I have too many projects already. I am also scheduled for shoulder surgery and will be unable to work on it for quite a long time.
