1981 Honda xl250r; beautiful survivor with 4014 miles. No Reserve Auction. I am the second owner of this Monza Red 1981 Honda xl250r, Street Legal Dual Sport Enduro. Clear Colorado Title in my name. The bike was purchased from original owner. It has been garaged its whole life and well cared for. This is a pristine, near museum quality bike. Mechanical Condition: Starts first kick every time, no leaks anywhere, idles even, no smoke, shifts great, pulls hard, It rides like a new bike. All mechanicals working properly, blinkers, lights, odometer ect. Brakes are new. Both tires are brand new (They still have the nubbies.) The only mechanical problem with the bike is the speedometer. The speedo and odometer work but the speedometer makes a whining sound. Cosmetic Condition: The plastics, paint, rubber, aluminum and chrome are original and in great shape. No rust anywhere. No rust in tank. There is slight indent on the lower left side of the gas tank. It is hard to see in the pictures because the paint is no chipped or scratched. There are also some light scratches on the front fender. The exhaust has a hole near the end (see pictures). Haynes Manual, Owners Manual, and Cover included with sale. Bid with confidence.
