Due to requests for more pics, I am relisting the truck and hopefully give a few more details. Up for sale is a 1979 Dodge Lil Red Express. Beautiful show winning truck that is ready for the car show. I purchased this from the original owner in 2003. It needed some light engine detailing when I bought it and runs like a champ. The carb was changed to Edelbrock in 2005 and no problems with starting since then. I took the junk Thermoquad carb off. AM/FM 8 track player that works. The bed of the truck is stunning!! A professional wood worker stained and sanded till it was smooth as a baby's butt. All side wood pieces are fantastic too. The gas gauge does not work, it never has. It worked for one week after a new fuel sending unit was installed, but eventually stopped again. The right door speaker fades in and out. There is a rock chip on the left front fender (working to fix it now) and typical chips around bottom back fender. Original wheels look good, but need polished. NO MUFFLERS!! It sounds like a true BAD ASS from 2 miles away. I have the build sheet and owners manual. Truck cover, fender cover and chrome chains go with the truck. Lady owned and I have loved and pampered this truck from day one. 70,000 miles and better than any brand new vehicle out there. Numerous awards and one BEST OF SHOW plaque that I will keep. Galen Govier decoded the truck and it is a true Express. I used cleaners and waxes from Griot's Garage and worth every penny. TERMS: $2000 down immediately after auction closes (NON REFUNDABLE). Cashiers Check and/or cash due when you pick it up. You can drive this home if you prefer or you can haul it or make your own arrangements to have it shipped. The truck in in safe locked storage until you pick it up. Needs to be gone in 2 weeks or I keep your money and the truck. I have had so much fun with this truck and now it is your turn.
