Having just two owners since new & both owning her for 30 yrs. Purchased new in Southern California, the original owner babied his beloved 56 for 3 decades. Finally, in 1985 he sold the truck to its 2nd owner/lover, Jim T. in Southern AZ. Jim, a professional aircraft mechanic, used his skills to maintain the truck in top flight condition while he drove it until the early 2000s. By that time Jim was ready & to make his dream for the truck a reality. Turn his 56 Custom Cab into a Custom Show Truck!. Exterior This desert jewel is 100% Rust Free, never wrecked, factory steel body, with new bed panels, running boards, & smoothed tailgate. Base coat/Clear coat Paint has a mirror finish with no issues. "Proven Show Winning" 1St Place paint & body, interior & engine. All chrome & stainless trim is in new condition. Wheels and tires are like new. Features Tilt Hood, Shaved door handles, mirrors, emblems & tailgate. New tinted windows all around. Electric windows, remote door openers, cruise control & more. Shown are some of the awards she's won & the original 1956 License Plate. Interior Full custom, the interior is nothing short of immaculate. The shaved exterior theme, was carried thru the interior as well. Smooth shaved dash, hidden switches, glove box, & heat & air. Super quite cab, great insulation.
