1965 Ford Mustang fastback. Car just out of paint and body. Runs and stops great. no pull when driving or braking. Equipped with power steering, A/C, console, and fold down back seat. PAINT & BODYThis car just had base coat/clear coat paint job. hood was replaced with a new one. Some body work was done as well. Some sand marks visible in lower part of car as well as front and rear valences do not appear to have been buffed out. Well above driver quality paint job but not show quality. Done at a body shop not a backyard garage. Color is palomino. Lower quarters were replaced at some point as well as passenger front fender. Doors, jams, and other panels in great shape. no rust. EXTERIORMix of new chrome and existing parts which are in good condition. Fender emblems and wheel moldings are being installed. new rocker moldings on it. INTERIORInterior is in great shape. No tears in headliner or seats, presents very well. New interior handles, kick panels, door panels. Nice center console. Fold down seat operates as it should. Dash has small area bubbling on passenger side but not a big concern. All lighting, horn, fan, A/C works. Can't tell if under dash A/C is blowing cold but is operational. Glass is all in good shape. Passenger window sometimes sticks going down. DRIVETRAIN289 cu in 4bbl engine with C4 green dot automatic transmission. Do not know if this is the original 289 to the car or not. "C" code car and engine looks period correct. Car starts right up and shifts great. If there were an issue I would tell you, it just drives great and doesn't leak. Power steering works fine. Engine compartment has not been detailed. Everything is there. Needs battery hold-down. BRAKES & WHEELS4 wheel manual drum brakes. As I've stated, stops well and evenly. I would guess about 1/2 life remaining on shoes. Wheels are not original to the car but are "65 steel styled wheels with trim rings and good tires with plenty of tread. 205/70/R14. EXHAUSTComplete with new trumpets and trumpet lower valence. healthy sounding mufflers but do not know the make. UNDERCARRIAGECar is clean underneath. Original type suspension with some parts replaced. Front end rides stiff through potholes. Frame rails, torque boxes, floors, trunk and drop-offs in good rust free condition. I have owned this car for about a year. I do not know all the ins and outs of it but feel I am representing it accurately and trust my own daughter to drive it. That being said, it is over 50 years old and if you don't know anything about old cars be sure that they always need something!This car is sold as is, I welcome anyone who would like to inspect it, it's a great car. Its also nice to have one that's not red, black, or white as so many are! Thanks for looking
