Vehicle Detail

No reserve! Highest bid wins this 1972 CADILLAC DEVILLE COUPE with ice cold A/C and all power options functioning. It's being re-listed due to non-payer. 1) Pay A Non-Refundable Deposit immediately or within 24 hours. 2) Pay the balance in full within 48 hrs by wire. 3) Make your own arrangements for shipping. 4) I will accept returns minus shipping and your deposit. I bought this vehicle in August of 2014 for $6,880.00 with 87,859 that now reads a shade over 88k. The car needs a new paint job and it must be sanded down to address the rust issues, and new spark plugs. The vinyl top is in perfect condition. The 472 ci V8 is the original engine. It's been maintained, but it needs a tune-up. Every mechanic that's checked out the engine and has driven the vehicle has been impressed with the engine's performance. It accelerates smooth, but avoid high ethanol gasoline. There's a small exhaust leak. It has new brakes, and four new tires. I have a special connection with Cadillac's because my grandfather owned a dealership. I have many fond memories as a young boy spending my summers at the dealership. Today, my hobby is tracking down the vehicles sold by my grandfather and collecting and restoring the ones I can find. This is one of those vehicles... I'm selling because my HOA has threatened a lawsuit for having too many vehicles, and my warehouse is full. The interior is in good condition, but it did not come in the two tone black and tan. According to an article in Hagerty, Barrett Jackson, that quotes Frank Nicodemus regarding how the value of a classic is affected when it's 1) not original and 2) not rare... The article stated for vehicles under $25K the value isn't affected that much at which point it becomes all about owner preference. This vehicle does not fit in the rare category yet, but I don't see many 72's listed for sale. Since it's not considered rare and doesn't affect value of any significance it's now a matter of the owner's preference. A/C, Power Windows, Power Seats, and all Gauges are functioning. Once the body is addressed when painted it will be a bad ass and classy Cadillac that should be in a movie. The glass is in good condition and there's no issues with the chrome. The trunk is solid, and there's no rust underneath. Options are power eight way seat, power windows, power door locks, tilt steering wheel. All interior wood trim is just like new. Exterior stainless trim and all chrome. There's no shortage of Cadillac's on the market, but 2 Door Coupe's aren't always available. I encourage you to do some research and compare with other 2 Door Cadillac DeVille Coupe's. You won't find one priced as fair as this in this condition.are priced much higher, than I'am asking.
