No reserve 1951 Chevy truck with a 235 Chevrolet engine. This truck came from a farm in central Kansas. This truck had sat for several years without running, so we put some fresh gas in it and a battery from another vehicle, and got it started. It sounded very good, with good oil pressure, and after running for a couple of minutes it died like it ran out of fuel. Either the fuel pump quit, or the carb has something stuck in it, etc. It will still run when you pour a little gas down the carb, but it will need to be pushed on a trailer - which I will be happy to do for you. I filled the master cylinder with brake fluid and the brakes pumped up, but are pretty soft, the parking brake does work well. The engine in this truck was changed to a 235 so it still looks original, but has the full pressure lubrication and is a much better engine than the original 216. Overall this is a very straight truck. The only spots of rust are small ones, over the headlights and bottom of fender underneath that, and also a little underneath the heater box in the cab. The cab corners and floors are solid, as is the rest of the truck. The interior is very clean and original. The seat, however, will need to be reupholstered. This is a very clean, original old truck, with an upgraded engine, that could be cruising around again with a days worth of work.
