Vehicle Detail

1965 Chevy Impala 4 door hard top! This was my daily driver before I moved across the country and had to leave it behind. I had hoped to have it shipped over one day, but I don't see that happening now. The car runs and drives. I want to say it has around 77,000 miles on it if I remember correctly. I'm 99% sure its less than 80,000 miles. The body is pretty solid but it has some dings here and there and some rust. The interior could use some work. The front bench seat split at one of the seams. The rear window leaks. I left the car with a mechanic at an auto shop when I moved. He drives it around the lot from time to time so it gets some exercise. The car has a lot of potential. Registration good through 7/16. EDIT: Added 2 pics. You can see the other side of the car now and the original hubcaps. I THINK they're in the trunk right now, not really sure. EDIT 2: Apparently some rodents have moved in and have torn some of the stuffing out of that split seam in the front bench seat. Also, there is water damage on the backrest of the back seat due to the rear window leak. Still working on getting interior shots. EDIT 3, 5/2/16: Still no new pictures. I was told there are some kind of mushrooms growing off the back seat. The sun has cracked the dashboard. The fan blows, the clock still ticks (sometimes). AM radio works. The door panels are in pretty good shape. The seatbelts are fine. One of the doors is difficult to open and one of the windows is difficult to roll down. EDIT 4, 5/2/16: Answers to some questions: I haven't been in the car in 13 months, but I remember there being a small amount of fluid on top of the engine from time to time. One of the headlights was burned out. The hi-beams worked, blinkers worked, even the blinker indicator lights on the dash worked. There is no bondo on the body. I'm not aware of the car being in any car crashes, but there is a bit of a ding on the front emblem and a small dent on the front corner passenger side. I'm the second owner, the original owners were getting up there in age when I bought it. I wouldn't be surprised if maybe they had bumped into their garage pulling into the driveway or something. Its a very smooth ride. It still has the original glass bottle that sits under the hood for washer fluid or whatever, so they couldn't have hit anything that hard. The car has a tendency to swerve if you hit the brakes hard, but it is controllable. I believe this would be fixed by replacing the center drag link, you can find one for around $125 easy. Yes it's a 327 automatic. I'm having a hard time thinking of anything that didn't work. The wipers work.. I think everything electrical works. A lot of the stuff is old, like the carburetor could probably use a rebuild, but its all in working order that I can remember. EDIT 5, 5/3/16: NEW PICS! And no mushrooms on the backseat! The mechanic said the engine is good, the choke might need some work, and he said that's grime on the hood but it wipes off. 327 engine with double hump heads from the factory. 2 speed power glide transmission. The battery is dead. One of the pics shows the hubcaps. Got a couple of the split seam on the front seat. And one shows the damage to the rear package tray from the rear window leak. I'll try to add some interior photos in the next few days. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pickup/shipping.
