1955 Ford Thunderbird You are viewing a very good restorable 1955 Ford Thunderbird. This T-Bird is in pretty honest original condition. These cars don't pop up to often in good restorable shape. We had plans on restoring it but have run out of time, about time to sell some projects. This car will make someone a fun car! The thunderbird is quite original, sporting its original drivetrain which is believed to be a ford 312 V8 backed by an automatic trans. The engine turns over just fine, previous owner had the car running, we believe it just needs a few tweaks and it should start up. As of now it turns over and almost fires up. Very good base to work from. Nothing is locked up or froze, will be very restorable. The brakes are in working condition, I believe just the fronts as of now..... The tires on the car are in almost brand new shape, just sporting a good radial as of now. The car comes with a set of hubcaps as seen in the pics, they do have some rust on them. All the glass in the car is in perfect shape, no chips or cracks. The car has a removable hard top which is in good shape for its age. The seat on the interior has been redone and is in good shape, will need carpet and for sure 1 new door panel. The dash will need a little help but the gauge is in good shape. The only rust we've found on the car are in both the drivers and passenger floor pan, could be patched. Trunk floor is in good shape. Has some surface rust under car but we haven't seen anything unrepairable. Overall you are viewing a good project car, will need a full restoration of major systems. The paint is cracking in several areas but they have been primed to prevent rusting. We believe the original color to be turquoise, shows this color a little in door jams and trunk jam. This car will need wrenched onto a trailer but brakes do work a little. Car is being sold as is with no warranty. Please message me with any questions. Thanks for viewing! Happy bidding!
