I've decided to sell my 2000 BMW R1100RT motorcycle. I bought this bike about 3 years ago with 29000 miles on it. It was always well maintained and serviced by the prior owner and I have done the same. It starts right and rides really nice. I have never dropped it or laid it over and I don't think the previous owner did either. I wouldn't hesitate to get on it today and ride anywhere in the country! I took it on a ride around Yellowstone as well as rode it to Dallas and back. It is a really nice bike in good overall condition. It has just under 36000 miles on it now. The battery was just replaced last week with a new gel battery. Tires are Bridgestone Battlax's with over 50% tread left. Cosmetically it is in good condition with only minor scratches here and there and some general wear and tear. Nothing major at all. Where the exhaust get close to the paint, there are some paint bubbles inside the fairings that are hard to notice without bending over to look in (common on these bikes). The rear trunk is a OEM trunk and is keyed to the bike. It has the brackets for OEM saddlebags should anyone choose to add them. The seat is in excellent condition with no rips or tears. The power windshield is a CEE Bailey aftermarket unit that really protects nicely and is in excellent condition with no hazing or major scratches. The heated grips work great and are really nice for colder days. Comes with a ram mount on the brake reservoir and a ram mount on the front fork cap. Perfect for adding accessories like cup holder or cell phone holder (they don't come with the bike). Has O-ring cruise control-- (lol-- look it up on the internet- actually works pretty well to give your right hand some rest on long trips). I have a clean and clear title in my name.
