Vehicle Detail
Greetings- I bought this car from my neighbor two years ago. Her Dad, the second owner bought it in 1974 and drove it for 13 years and then started a restoration by stripping the car apart. That's as far as he got, tragically he died the following year and left it to his daughter (my neighbor). The car and it's parts were stored under cover since 1988. This is really a garage find! lol. I purchased the car from her last year and started restoration, never intending to make it perfect, but a driver! I had the body completely re-glassed and primered. (130 hours)! Its super straight! I have installed new body mounts and bolts. The brakes have just been completely re-done. New master cylinder, new lines, wheel cylinders, shoes and rear drums. This car is a California car and has virtually no rust! Just a small bit of surface rust here and there. There are too many parts to catalog so take a good look at the pictures. The top needs re-canvassing but the frame is in perfect condition. The speedo, tach, ignition switch, clock oil and temp gauges are all in good condition. Most of the chrome if not all appears to be present. Door panels, shifter, door strikers, headlight bezels, taillights, parking lights, headlight covers and tons of miscellaneous bits and pieces go with the car. Other than the missing engine and transmission, most of the parts, bits and pieces seem to be there! The rear end is complete and comes with extra pumpkin. (see pics). Basically, I ran out of time as my business takes most of my time these days. This car has no title and will be sold with a bill of sale only but is no big deal to get a title once the car has a motor in it as it has been off the DMV's system for 20 years or so. I have a fairly thick DMV paper trail dating back to 1974. Good luck bidding and please just let me know if you need better pictures of any certain items. Thanks Jeff On Apr-03-16 at 19:35:08 PDT, seller added the following information: Sorry forgot to mention the car has no VIN Tag and will need to have one re-issued from the DMV or Highway Patrol.
