Interesting story with this Caddy. It was, for 5 years , mainly stored in a garage for the purpose of preservation (future classic) , never driven in rain or snow. Until last fall when I lost storage and decided to use it as my daily driver. Low and behold I slid into a cement barrier on a sheet of ice a couple months ago cracking the right front plastic bumper cover (speed was about 3 mph) . No structural damage. THEN, I was driving it up onto a set of ramps and went a little too far and the car came down on top of the front edges of the ramps, bending up the bottoms of the fenders behind the front wheels. You can see in the 2 pictures the extent of the damage. I did an amatuer fix on the bumper cover . But with a new bumper cover, and some minor work to get the fenders back into shape, the car will be as pristine as it was when I didn't even drive it in the rain!The interior is in beautiful condition, the engine runs smooth and quiet with no signs of any head gasket issues.
