Up for sale is my beautiful 1956 Thunderbird--A true classic complete with a continental kit wheel at the back. This car was a 100 % California Car and was registered with the Beverly Hills Car Club until 2013. In 2014 an elderly gentleman in Ontario purchased the car-- but due to health reasons was unable to keep it and so I purchased the car-- also with the intention of keeping it well into my retirement years-- now my situation has also changed and I have decided to pursue a new business venture and will require the proceeds from this car in order to continue. Mostly I will let the pictures tell the story-- but in a nutshell this is a very nice clean car -0 Rust and new paint about four years ago ( original factory color "fiesta red" ) Body is in excellent shape--no dings or scratches. The engine is the original but optional 312 V-8 just as it came from the factory , It was necessary to add an electric fuel pump--I did this last year. 2 speed automatic transmission that shifts with no issues-- The engine is strong with no smoke or strange noises. Please look at the interior photos as you can see -- excellent condition--- all gauges , lights and running gear work correctly, the wipers are a bit sluggish. The cloth top is present and in good condition except for a two inch pressure crease that has developed--I have taped it and it does not leak---The hard top ( included) is NOT factory and does not have the porthole-- a perfectionist will want a new top. I have placed a very low reserve on this car-- It will sell, Please bid only if you respect E-Bay rules and plan to purchase the car and have the funds to do so-- cars in this condition are bidding in the mid 30's, my reserve is much much lower..
