You will like how it looks under the hood. Brand new 261 cu. in. block, with rods, head and crank rebuilt by Action Auto. Finned valve cover, new dual Weber carbs and split exhaust manifold. Nothing sounds like a 6 with a split exhaust system. Converted to 12 volts. 3 speed transmission was rebuilt. Joe, at Old School Garage, did the service and safety check. The main thing Joe did was adjust the valves on the new engine. The VIN was in question and before we would sell it we took it to the Washington State Patrol for inspection. The State Patrol issued a new VIN # and installed a Washington State VIN tag. The underside has never been restored so its crusty looking but very solid. We did find some minor spots you can see in the photos. They cut the floor pan over the master cylinder. My guess is they installed an access hole to the master cylinder, but thats only a guess. Frame is solid. The interior is very good. Seats have been reupholstered in non-stock cloth along with the door panels. Headliner has been replaced.
