Up for auction is my 1996 Hugger Orange two door Tahoe. This truck gets a "nice truck" comment, or thumbs up every single time I take it out. I catch a lot of people taking pictures of it. People love it. I bought this truck from the company I was working for about 4 years ago, they were the original owner. It was the company manager's personal vehicle and was serviced frequently as company money was paying for the maintenance. All the miles are highway miles. It was completely stock when I bought it and began its transformation. It started out as forest green with tan interior. I painted it Kirker hugger orange and converted the interior to black/gray. I've only put about 800 miles on it in the past two years, and only about 5,000 miles on it since I've owned it, so its time for someone else to enjoy her. Its lifted, but I've never had it off road. Exterior: Anything mentioned as "replaced" was new two years ago:-Hugger orange paint job. A couple small scratches here and there. Some minor orange peel to the paint, but very slight. There are some small dings here and there. It is not perfectly straight, but still good looking. Like I said, it gets comments every time I drive it.-Two inch AMD rounded cowl induction hood.-Chrome front bumper with front plate mount.-Rear bumper replaced with fiberglass roll pan.-Both door and rear tailgate handles replaced.-Both door mirrors replaced.-Front grill and headlights replaced.-Front bow-tie in grill was replaced with a chrome one, but the chrome is coming off.-Rear brake lights.-Both rocker panels replaced with metal replacements.-There is now some surface rust below the passenger door as shown in pictures. Suspension:4" rough country suspension lift (Installed when vehicle was painted) Wheels and tires:-20" x 8.5" Boss Chrome wheels.-Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ 305/55R20 tires with approximately 60% tread. Interior:-Tan factory seats covered with custom gray seat covers specifically for Tahoe seats. They fit great. Original seats have some stains on them, and some wear, but not showing foam anywhere like some other trucks of this vintage. -Dash painted gloss black. Has a few small scratches. -All interior panels painted black, and have a few small scratches here and there, but overall in great shape.-Factory tan seat belts remain in place. Stereo:-Old school pioneer CD player with aux input. Aux input cable located in console.- 2 x 12" sony Subs- Pioneer door speakers and rear speakers ran off of amps. Motor and Trans:-Engine is 5.7L/350 C.I. Factory unit with no modifications. I was told engine is factory and has not ever been rebuilt. The check engine light has been on for as long as I've owned it. Its a code for the catalytic converters, but the truck has always ran fine for me. Trans was rebuilt at some point, but not sure on mileage. It shifts well.-Factory muffler was cut off and two thrush mufflers clamped on where the factory muffler was. There are no pipes after the mufflers under the truck. Known Defects:1. A/C does not blow cold. All parts are there though.2. Rear glass open button on dash does not work.3. Rear windshield wiper does not work.4. Lock/unlock lever in drivers door linkage keeps popping off. Power lock buttons still function properly, and the door key can be used as well. 5. No spare tire or spare tire rack. This is one of those "Too many toys" situations. I've run out of room in the barn, and never drive it. Time for someone else to have fun with it.
